Precautions for Use of Farm Machinery in Spring Broadcasting

With the advent of spring plowing, various agricultural machinery started to be put into operation. In order to reduce the use of failures, improve operational efficiency, and ensure safe production, the use of agricultural machinery during spring and spring seasons requires four attentions:

First, prior to the opening of the spring, various agricultural machines should be cleaned, lubricated, adjusted, and sturdy before use in accordance with the requirements of the operating instructions. This avoids the looseness and awkwardness of the different parts that are brought about by idle winter farms.

2. As spring temperatures have just picked up, the brittleness of metal parts of agricultural machinery is still strong. For the maintenance of the lubrication system of power machinery (such as tractors and diesel engines), in addition to the use of lubricating oil in accordance with the required standards, the maintenance cycle and specifications of the lubrication system must be strictly observed. Regularly clean the lubrication system and replace the filter parts regularly to reduce mechanical wear and ensure that the equipment is put into operation in a good technical condition.

Third, the temperature of the early spring season is unstable and volatile. The maintenance cycle and specification issues should attract attention. The correct use of the cooling system for power machinery cannot be ignored. One is to do a good job of anti-freezing. When the temperature is lower than O°C at night, the cooling water should be let off to avoid freezing and splitting the body. Second, when the machine starts at a low temperature, a warm-up start should be implemented. Third, pay attention to the normal temperature of the engine. When the water temperature reaches 40°C or more, it can only be operated at load, and the load operation can be started at temperatures above 60°C. The normal working temperature should be maintained between 80 and 95°C to reduce unnecessary wear of the engine and to avoid excessive engine cooling. The working pressure of the engine can also reduce the fuel consumption.

Fourth, when the tractor is performing rotary tillage, sowing, transportation and other operations, it must strictly abide by the operating procedures to ensure safe operations.

At present, most of the agricultural machinery engines are diesel engines, so the diesel purification work is very important. First of all, the diesel purification is to re-purchase the recovered diesel oil for more than 48 hours. When refuelling, the funnel is added to the filter and a layer of silk cloth is added. When taking oil from the oil drum, add a layer of silk cloth to the filter, and regularly clean or replace the diesel filter. Also note the following "few nets."

"Net lubricant": Always pay attention to the use of clean lubricants that meet the standards of this machine. The filter element of the oil filter should be regularly cleaned. The rotor-type filter should be affixed with a layer of suitable kraft paper of a wide and narrow length to facilitate the adsorption of dirt under centrifugal action. Filter dirt on the adsorption of the best cleaning with a pump, blow from the inside out, scrub with a brush, never wipe by hand. Use a clean, calcium-based grease on the butter, and don't mess with other lubricants.

"Air net": When the engine is running, the air cylinder inhales 2 to 4 cubic meters per minute. In order to ensure that the air entering the cylinder is clean, the air cleaner must be regularly cleaned and cleaned.

"Cooling water net": It is better to use soft water for engine cooling water, and add 1% caustic soda and 0.5% kerosene according to the water volume when the cooling system is cleaned.

“Tools and nets”: Most of the agricultural machinery operations are in the wild and open-air operations. They often come in contact with dust, silt, and water. The body is most likely to be dirty. Therefore, it is necessary to scrub frequently, so that the body will not rust, if necessary, to make up the paint to prevent corrosion. The agricultural machinery operation is completed and it should be parked in a roof sheltered from warm winds. If placed in the open air, the battery should be removed to prevent the frozen air from freezing.
